Founded in 1988. Still cutting steel.
Founded in 1988, our company specialises in manufacturing and installation work for structural and stainless steel, with a strong focus on the mining and construction industries.
Carletonville sits in the middle of one of the deepest gold-mining districts in the world. That is not a coincidence — MTI grew up serving the plants, shafts and processing facilities around it, and that proximity is still how we work: close enough to be on site the same day, equipped enough to carry a national contract.
Our passion for steel drives us to exceed client expectations. Integrity forms the foundation of every project we undertake, ensuring transparency and trust between our clients and our team. Our commitment to teamwork fosters a collaborative environment that drives innovation, enhances problem-solving and improves operational efficiency.
MTI Engineering has had the opportunity to collaborate with respected clients such as Sibanye-Stillwater, Glencore, De Beers, WBHO and LSL Consultants.
